This was a more difficult purchase for me that I thought. I only wanted to purchase a pair of sneakers for walking around but as I am an old man now, I was most conscious of a non skid type of sole. I looked all thought the Amazon web pages but as I was looking for pictures and descriptions of the soles I had a difficult time because the web pages do not show the soles. Then went to a high profile name brand brick and mortar store but this store didn't have what I wanted anyway so I went back to Amazon and purchased this pair of Reeboks. On this particular web page there was just enough of the tip of the sole showing to give me a good idea of the sole and as it was acceptable to me, I then made my purchase and it appears to be very satisfactory.

Nice shoes, but a little small. I ordered a half size up and wish I'd' gone up a whole size. Hopefully they will stretch a bit as they break in. If not, and I order another pair someday, I will go up another half size.

After wearing Altra running shoes for two years and LOVING them, I couldn't wait to try this shoe for work. I'm on my feet most of the day as a high school teacher, and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn for work. I now have three pair and hope that Altra will make these in brown too. Be sure you know that these are Zero-Drop, meaning the heel and ball of the foot will be at the same height - much like standing barefoot. If you normally wear a show with a noticeable lift to the heel, these may take some getting used to.
