I READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING. MOST WERE POSITIVE AND I FOUND THAT WHAT OTHERS SAID WAS TRUE. THERE IS AN ARCH IN THIS SHOE. THERE IS NO ODOR FROM WEARING THIS SHOE. IT IS STYLISH AND LOOKS GOOD WITH SHORTS. I WEAR ALDEN BOOTS. I NEEDED SOMETHING BESIDES ALL MY RUNNING SHOES FOR A CRUISE THAT I AM TAKING THIS MONTH. GREAT SHOE...NO PROBLEMS.

Saw my son wearing a pair and he loved them - so i bought a similar pair and love them also. Sitting in a waiting room (dentist) I noticed two other men wearing also a similar pair. Questioned them they said (Yep Merrells - great shoes)

I took the advise of other reviewers and ordered a size bigger than my normal size. These fit snug but they’re supposed to being modeled after track shoes.
I like the styling of these shoes. They’re very comfortable after wearing them a little bit and they are light and have a minimalist feel.
If this is your style I don’t think you can go wrong with these shoes.
