Purchased to wear at the gym.They took one afternoon to break in.I used to wear the saucony kinvara which cost around $100,and has a 4mm heel to toe,which made the cartlidge on my heel hurt after running on the treadmill.The Propel Vista has a 8 mm heel to toe which seems to have stopped my heel from hurting after each run on a treadmill.The Propel Vista is described as a street runner,but they work great for treadmill running,and they only cost $40 ,and are just as comfortable as Saucony's more expensive runners.Will purchase again.

I'm hard on my shoes. I bought two pair of these to rotate to keep from wearing any one pair out too much. I've had them a few months and the soles are starting to wear - the treads peeling off in places. Haven't lasted as long as some other brands but have lasted longer than I would have guessed. So good but not great.

Purchased these for my husband and he was happily surprised with business and/or casual style. He has a wide foot but these were extremely comfortable from the start. Our son is recovering from a broken leg and needed a supportive, comfortable shoe with a non slip sole and these fit the bill! These are one of the best pairs of shoes I've ever owned. They can take a real beating. They're super light, breathable, they look great, and are very comfortable even after VERY long walks. The proof? I'll begin by saying that I sealed them with waterproofing spray, which I used to protect the suede. I walk to class in the rain in them, do sports in them, and I hiked in them to Rainbow Falls (5 hour hike, long story...). Sharp rocks, lots of mud, falling into water, falling into ditches... and my feet were hardly sore. When I got back, I wiped them down with a wet towel and they came out BRAND NEW and wore them out that night to dinner. I'm not saying that you should hike in them, because the rocks will definitely hurt and these are not at all designed for hiking. I'm just proving a point, and that is that these shoes can survive brutality.

This item looks great and has held up well since I bought it a few months ago. One minor thing is the plastic/rubber sole is beginning to peel off in the left shoe, but a quick trip to the dry cleaning store (they also do shoes) took care of this easily. Overall, I highly recommend these shoes.
