I love Chucks. This was my first weatherized pair. They keep my feet dry and warm. These like most Chucks do not have ANY arch support. I recommend the arch supports sold by Dr. Sholl's . I use the Dr Sholl's in all my Chucks.
That being said I do not go trekking through deep snow or very cold temperature in them.
For about 6 inches or less of snow and 20-30 degrees F they are fine.
Unless you hate the color purple these are a good version of Chucks.

Bought these because of the low price to have something to use around the house for yard work, working on the car and general around the house fix it or clean up kind of stuff. I wear them daily and cherish the comfort and traction. I have had problems with my feet aching before this pair of shoes but now I walk around without any discomfort. The only feature left to evaluate is how they feel on my feet awhile down the road. At present, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to others. This is my true story and I'm sticking to it for now! LOL

I purchased these as my winter shoes. In warmer weather I usually wear some other sketchers which are canvas/cloth. These are great shoes and look good with jeans or slacks.
