The Nike Air Force 1 Low Year of the Snake is a fascinating iteration of the iconic sneaker, celebrating the Chinese zodiac sign of the Snake. Released in 2013, this sneaker was part of Nike's tradition of incorporating cultural and thematic elements into their designs, often paying homage to significant cultural symbols or events. The sneaker features a striking aesthetic with a rich blend of textures and colors that symbolize the snake's qualities. The upper of the shoe is adorned with a mix of synthetic materials and leather that mimic snake skin, which is both visually captivating and evocative. The black base is intricately detailed with iridescent scales, delivering a dynamic look that shimmers with movement and light. The design is further complemented by subtle metallic gold accents and a bold red lining, which adds a vibrant touch in alignment with traditional Chinese color symbolism for good luck and fortune.
Adding to the appeal and exclusivity of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Year of the Snake, the shoe retains the classic Air Force 1 silhouette that sneaker enthusiasts have cherished since its inception in 1982. The comfort synonymous with the Air Force 1 lineage is preserved, featuring the renowned Nike Air cushioning technology, ensuring that the sneaker not only looks extraordinary but also provides unparalleled comfort. The attention to detail extends to the laces and tongue, where unique branding and graphics underscore the thematic focus on the Year of the Snake. This limited edition model captures the essence of innovation and style that Nike is celebrated for, blending tradition with modernity. As such, it stands as a testament to the brand's ability to create unique, culturally resonant sneakers that resonate globally with collectors and fashion aficionados alike.

Having worn 574s for about 15 years I was interested to try the 373. The main difference is in the overall bulk of the shoe. The 373 is much more form fitting with a slightly lower ankle and slightly thinner sole. Comfort is comparable in both shoes, but from a fashion point of view they compliment clothes differently. The 373 I wear with slimmer jeans that have smaller cuffs, which I still prefer the 574 when wearing a boot cut jean or shorts.

Good quality. The fit was perfect and the comfort is good.

These have always been my goto sneakers. I have tried many other brands and not found anything remotely comfortable for 8-10 hrs of walking on a concrete floor.

I have the multicolor shoes. Bright and attractive. I like the fact that a pair of socks are also included.
Lightweight. Lots of padding around the ankle. . . as well as the tongue. Firm padding on the footbed with some arch support.
Nice non-slip sole. Breathable mesh upper.
These shoes are Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon. At the current starting price of fifty-eight bucks, I think they are quite expensive. . . but overall nice shoes. The box shoes “New York” in a couple of places. . .and. . .”New Yorh” in one place. But there is no question that these are Chinese shoes.

I like the look and feel of these shoes. Very simple and low, comfortable basic sneakers. They look good, even though there is so much rubber on the sides. The fit is perfect in my experience. I usually take a 13 in sneakers and often a 12 in boots, but with some sneakers I have to worry about the width - not a problem here. These fit right, don't cramp, but also don't leave my heel lifting in the back.
The prices are all over the place depending on the size you get, but these seem like a steal when your size happens to be on the inexpensive end of that scale.

I absolutely love these sneakers. I bought these searching for comfort, as well as, style. As a bartender, I’m always on the lookout for a comfortable (all day) sneaker, as I’m on my feet long hours and these definitely provide that. Great cushioning, bounce, and style. I will say that Puma’s run about a 1/2- 1 size smaller than most brands. I can usually wear a 7-7 1/2 in men’s sneakers (9 in women’s) but after buying a 7 1/2 I had to exchange them for the 8 men’s.
