The New Balance 1000 made its debut way back in 1998. After sitting on the sidelines for a cool minute, it finally returned to the limelight when this pair was spotted at Paris Fashion Week. Combining heritage with contemporary street style, the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 1000 celebrates New Balance’s legacy and Joe Freshgoods’ modern aesthetic. Offered in your choice of Black Ice or Pink Mink, the first pair is given a stylish dark color scheme, design details we are able to point out include the uniquely designed sole unit made up of Gum, Tan and Purple accents, while the upper appears to be made out of a mix of materials that include a Black honeycomb mesh pattern, iridescent-like overlays, Black midsoles, leather overlays and JFG on the toe and heels. The second pair is covered in soft Pink tones that is then accentuated by matte metallic overlays. The breathable open mesh base and leather overlays are a great combo that offers both comfort and support.
