I wear a women's size 11 USA. The chart that displays the size ratio of Converse men's to women's says a men's 8 equals a woman's 10. I read the previous reviews about how these shoes run large so I opted for the size 8 men's and they are actually a little long. The width is o.k. but I wish they were a quarter of an inch or so shorter, but they still fit well enough. I have a pair of Converse shoes just like these except white, and underneath the tongue it says it's a men's 8 and they fit perfectly so I was a little surprised that these were on the long side. I've always loved the classic Converse tennis shoe whether it's a high top or low top. I recently purchased the black low top and like I said earlier, it fits well enough except for being a little too long in the toe. The good thing about that though, is that I'll never have to worry about my toes getting crunched when walking down steep inclines.
I don't know about men's sizes, but if you are buying a pair of these shoes for a woman, it might be a real good idea to go down a size from what she normally wears in other shoes.

I bought 2 pair of these for my husband who is a merchandiser for Coke. He is on his feet from 5 am till 4 pm at local stores. The store's floors are all concrete covered in some sort of decorative flooring which is hell on his feet. He used to complain about how bad his feet hurt, and we tried everything from insoles to double layering socks to give him some relief. On top of that he has a bad knee from a car accident injury that pains him at times. After reading the reviews of this shoe I thought why not try them since he will get reimbursement for them. I am so glad I bought them! He now swears by these shoes! Ever since he swapped to these shoes his feet no longer hurt after a busy day, and his knee as not pained him.
He wears a size 13 and sometimes a 13 is not really a 13, but a wide 12. These are a true 13, and he said the width was perfect and have plenty of cushion. He's not in wet conditions so I am unsure of their performance for instance in a kitchen. He's been wearing one pair everyday for a week and the cushioning has remained constant. It's nice to have my husband come home and not hobble around the house because of his feet. I would buy these again!

these are very good for skating indeed, specially for freeriding, standing more than 5 hours without walking enough can be painful, in particular if you have flat foot like mine.
Other than that the shoes are fresh, breathable and provide great support for skating and moving, the front is loose while the back (heel) is tight. the shoes are flexible.
I am using them daily, i will come back with comments on durability

I son told me the sneakers fit big. He already wore them, so we will keep the sneakers. I guess he would have to put extra socks.

I will first say that I love the look of these shoes! The worn in look is amazing and very well designed - giving these shoes a very lived in kind of feel.
The shoes look sharp but, this is where the kudos end. The shoes are indeed leather and did take some time to get used to and actually wear in. Once I had stretched them, they were more comfortable than their initial outings but, they are extremely narrow on my feet and have a slight sole - making them not the most comfortable shoes in the world. The length, shoe sizing is spot on at a 10 but, the narrowness definitely takes away from the overall feel of them. I guess it’s true when they say that amazing fashion will have to hurt sometimes.
I would recommend on the look alone and not the feel.
